Happy Anniversary

If you had told me two years ago that I would be sitting on your couch writing you a love note, I never would have believed you. The last year has been an insane whirlwind, with so much of life as I knew it changing. Throughout all of it, you have remained consistent and stable; you really are the third constant in life, right beside death and taxes.

I promise I won't get too sappy or long-winded, as I know I have a tendency to do. I will say, though, that being with you has taught me so many lessons, brought me so much joy, and made me a better person. You are so brave, intelligent, funny, kind, and charismatic; I am constantly in awe of the way your brain works. You have said to me countless times that you don't think any of those things of yourself, so I'll keep saying it until you do. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with me, even when it isn't easy. I am so eternally grateful for you, and I intend to spend the rest of the time we have together showing you how much I love and appreciate you.
